Hey I’m new to these airboats, and we went out today for the first time. My boat goes about 25-28 across the big bay at Farmington with 3 guys, gear, and dog.

My question for you all is where can I realistically expect to go? We got stuck today 3 different times for a combined total of about 4 hours. My boat will go across what looks like a half inch of water no problem but when I tried to take it back into some of the bays by the crystal unit and I would slow down we would get stuck. I can’t stay full throttle in some of those bays/inlets because they are small and hard to find the right lath through. Do you think I’m just asking too much from my boat and should just stick to that main channel? It seems like all the other boats go somewhere other than that big channel... Thanks for the help/advice, I definitely don‘t want to get in that type of situation ever again.
